Building Graybill: A Founder's Perspective

I founded Graybill Strategy & Solutions on December 2, 2025, in Wilmington, North Carolina, while actively being an undergraduate at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Balancing my studies with active involvement on campus, I saw an opportunity to create a firm that combined academic knowledge with real-world business insight. It all started with my first boss while I worked in a small-town restaurant as a young teenager, where I was introduced to the realities of hard work, high standards, and personal accountability. His deep obsession with attention to detail taught me the fundamentals of operations, customer experience, and performing under pressure—lessons that would shape my approach to business long before this company existed. I launched the company as a one-person operation, building it from the ground up while navigating the challenges of entrepreneurship alongside my degree. These early days have been defined by hands-on problem solving, learning through experience, and laying the foundation for a firm built on excellence, adaptability, and growth.
